At Central Elementary School, students showed their support for the UWG football team during Red and Blue Day on Friday, December 4. The entire school wore red and blue to get geared up for the big game on Saturday, December 5. This idea stemmed from the fact that many students have parents and teachers with connections to UWG.
Both students and staff love to cheer on the UWG Wolves, and we’re all very excited about the playoff game tomorrow,” said Rachel Veal, counselor at CES and UWG alumna.
The Wolves will take on the Tuskegee Tigers on Saturday, December 5 at noon at University Stadium for the NCAA quarterfinals playoff game.
Take advantage of what the University of West Georgia has to offer. UWG boasts 86 programs of study including 43 at the bachelor's level, 29 at the master's and specialist levels, four at the doctoral level and 10 at the certificate level. Courses are available in traditional classroom settings as well as online.
