The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) is the largest and oldest chiropractic college in Europe with over 40 years experience in the fields of chiropractic education, research and treatment. The AECC offers a four year course leading to the internationally recognised MChiro qualification. If you do not have sufficient science qualifications it may be possible to complete the âextended yearâ before entering the first year.The college facilities include a state-of-the-art teaching clinic which was completed in 2009 and provides 50,000 patient treatments per year and is equipped with digital x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, sports assessment centre as well as OSMIA (Objective Spinal Motion Imaging Assessment) technology which was developed by the research department at the AECC. Social facilities include a large number of sporting clubs, sports hall, gym and bar. The AECC is situated in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England, only a few minutesâ walk from the cliff-top and seven miles of sandy beaches. Bournemouth has good travel links via road, rail and air with Heathrow (London) International Airport 1 ½ hours away. The AECC has 600 students all studying chiropractic with around 50% being from outside the UK including Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Canadian, South Africa, South Korea and America. This creates a uniquely friendly atmosphere which encourages learning and contributes to a good social scene.The cost of the course is £9,868 (approximately 17,500 CAD) per academic year this includes tuition fees and the cost of any activity students are required to undertake as part of their programme of study. However, Students should make an appropriate allowance to cover costs such as diagnostic instruments, clinical garments and the discretionary purchase of textbooks and course manuals etc.
