The program
The two-year program combines fieldwork in global companies with applied coursework and research on the latest business and management theories. The language of instruction is English. However, all students study a new language during the program. For non-native German speakers, MIM candidates learn German to increase their competitiveness on the German job market, and complete internships immersed in the German corporate culture. Native German speakers choose a language needed to manage relationships in the world's fastest growing economies.
During module 1, students take management core courses together in a single cohort. Most courses include components for teamwork and presentation to hone the students' communication and conflict resolution skills.
After the core module of the program, students take courses related to their chosen track in module 2, either quantitative business or innovative management
In module 3 students complete an internship of up to six months with a company and industry that meets their career goals. German students are encouraged to complete their internship abroad.
