More than 700 faculty members instruct approximately 5500 undergraduate and graduate students and around 500 research scholars. JSSAHER`s generous financial aid program ensures that talented students from all economic backgrounds can afford a education at JSSAHER. A vast range of cultural, educational, athletic and social activities are available to students, faculty and other staff. Campus life activities are built around the concepts of encouraging each member to express his or her talents and to respect all members of our pluralistic culture.

Academic programs of our constituent colleges are in consonance with the goals and objectives of the university to meet the healthcare needs of the society and have relevance to the national and global trends. The goal of providing relevant and the quality higher education has been transformed into reality by providing UG, PG Degree and Diploma and Research Programs in the disciplines of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Management and other Allied health and Bio-medical Sciences thereby meeting human resource need in healthcare.

Based on the guidelines and standards prescribed by various statutory bodies/ University Grants Commission, the Board's of Study in various specialties/disciplines are constituted by the university both for UG and PG programs for the curriculum development. The board consists of both internal and external members from reputed universities within India, besides industrial experts.The University designed its curriculum for various programs in 2008 and was reviewed after two years based on the feedback received from the students, alumni, Industries/ stakeholders and peers. We have 6 undergraduate programs in 13 subjects. The University has considered “TLE” as its corner stone in academic process. The university has thus adopted learner-centered experience based practical approaches along with continuous evaluation.
