UIC offers graduate and professional degrees in nationally ranked programs taught by award-winning faculty. Ninety-three master’s and 64 doctoral degree programs are offered in architecture, the arts, business, education, engineering, the humanities, public health, the sciences, social work, and urban planning and public affairs. Liautaud Graduate School of Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago has master’s programs in business analytics, finance, and management information systems. All three of these programs act as a solid foundation for a career in business and the school has been ranked in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.

The business analytics master’s program can either be completed in one year with full-time study, or over a year if studied part-time. The program uses both coursework and experiential learning to provide students with the knowledge necessary for their careers. Students will use equipment like SAS, R, Python, and IBM/SPSS. The business master’s has modules covering securities markets, high frequency trading and behavioral trading, among other subjects.

The application process includes an application fee, a GMAT/GRE score, a personal statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation and a resume.
