Welcome to the Graduate School at the University of Rhode Island, a university that is experiencing unprecedented growth and development. In the last five years, URI has enhanced its research and teaching infrastructure by adding a new building for the Center of Biological and Life Sciences (CBLS), a new College of Pharmacy building, and Center for Forensic Chemistry that is nearing completion. In addition voters in 2014, approved a new Engineering Complex. Collectively, these investments amount to more than 350 million dollars. In addition to State funded capital assets, URI also received major gifts to form the Harrington School for Media and Communications and the George and Anne Ryan Institute for Neuroscience. Needless to say these are exciting times at URI and for Graduate education.
