Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is the top university in South-Eastern Asia, one place ahead of another institution based in Singapore: National University of Singapore (NUS) 

As well as Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam all have at least one representative in this year's rankings.
