London Business School has been crowned the best institution in the world for studying a master’s degree in finance in the first edition of the QS World University Rankings: Masters in Finance Rankings.
New for 2018, this ranking has been published as part of the QS Business Masters Rankings, alongside other rankings of the world’s best management and business analytics postgraduate programs.
London Business School is one of two British institutions in the top 10, the other being the Said Business School at Oxford University which is ranked fourth. In between the two are the Sloan Graduate School of Management at MIT and HEC Paris in second and third respectively.
Universities and business schools have been ranked according to their performance in five metrics: employability, entrepreneurship & alumni outcomes, return on investment, thought leadership and diversity. More information about the methodology can be found here.
30 countries are represented in this year’s ranking, with the United States claiming the honor of being the most-represented country with a whopping 49 schools included. Trailing behind in second place is the United Kingdom with just 21.
