Nara Women’s University has a unique trait: It offers a range of education programs for girls from the ages of 3 to 27 (from kindergarten children to graduate students). Considering that a significant portion of life is spent at school, it can be said that humans are creatures that love to study. The university comprises the Faculty of Letters, a staple of the women’s college; the Faculty of Science, which is unusual for a women’s college; and the Faculty of Human Life and Environment, which is the only one of its kind found at a women’s college. Nara Women’s University provides students with a relaxed at home environment. The relatively small size of our university means that students and professors alike are able to get to know each other on a personal level and support is readily at hand when needed.
