This year’s Economics & Econometrics ranking sees a very economical lack of movement among universities at the top. In fact, only one university in the top 30 moves more than three places compared to last year’s subject ranking.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) makes it three years in a row at the top of the tree, staying ahead of their fellow American institutions Harvard University and Stanford University.
