Containing 300 universities for the first time ever, this year’s Chemical Engineering rankings see relatively little movement at the top, with all of the top four universities retaining their place from last year.

Lower down the table, two universities make an outstanding rankings debut. King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) in Saudi Arabia and Novosibirsk State University in Russia both feature in the world’s top 150, having never featured on a previous Chemical Engineering ranking.
