British and American universities continue to fly ahead of the competition at the top of the Mechanical Engineering ranking, with only two universities from other countries featuring in the top 10: the University of Tokyo (Japan) and Tsinghua University (China).
Both Tokyo and Tsinghua have made a marked improvement on last year’s rankings, where they finished 12th and 15th respectively.
