Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continues its long unbroken streak at the top of the electrical & electronic engineering ranking, with Stanford University again having to settle for being second-best.

The very top of the ranking may be dominated by American universities but there are plenty of other countries with institutions to boast about in this year’s ranking of the top 400. 53 countries are represented in total this year.
