The advantage of bilingual programs

CESINE is one of the few universities in Spain to be able to offer bilingual (English-Spanish) bachelor degree programs. These bilingual programs enable students to access not only the English-speaking market but the Spanish-speaking market also, with its 600 million potential customers. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world and the possibilities of doing business in Latin America mean that learning business Spanish offers CESINE students a clear competitive advantage.

International rankings and accreditation

CESINE’s presence among the top positions in the international rankings reflects its commitment to excellence, and above all, its ability to adapt to change in times of crisis and help individuals and organizations to achieve their objectives. So much so, in January 2013 CESINE was ranked the third best international university of the forty Spanish universities assessed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Education First. This ranking measures students' academic level and the degree of internationalization of institutions.

CESINE is also the second Spanish university to obtain the QS Stars educational accreditation, receiving excellent scores for categories such as employability, teaching quality, infrastructure and social responsibility.

CESINE University owes these achievements to the commitment it has made towards forming relationships with international businesses, as it now has one of the largest internship programs in Spain, offering students the opportunity to carry out internships in Spain, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Boston and Toronto.

Santander, an international city

Santander is an elegant city in northern Spain which stretches along one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is also home to the world headquarters of Santander Bank, the largest bank in Europe and seventh largest in the world. This has played a big part in the city becoming an important center for international business.

Santander’s historic quarter features an array of attractive buildings framed by the incredible natural backdrop provided by the Cantabrian Sea and mountains. Its maritime, sporting and commercial traditions combine with a centuries-old tradition of being a popular tourist destination. Santander hosts world surf championships, has held the prestigious Davis Cup tennis competition and in 2014 will also host the Sailing World Championship.

Santander is of great appeal to students, being a tremendously international city which attracts students from all over the world. The proximity of the beach and the mountains offer sporting opportunities in all seasons: everything from skiing to surfing or golf.

Santander also offers an enormous range of entertainment opportunities for students to enjoy, and of course plenty of opportunities to appreciate Spanish cuisine, making it a highly attractive option for those seeking both an international and Spanish experience.

CESINE has a modern campus equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It is located in a residential area of Santander, 500 meters from the beaches, golf courses and Racing Santander’s football stadium and just ten minutes from the city center.
