CUNY is the nations leading urban university: eleven senior colleges, 6 community colleges, a graduate school, a law school, the School of Professional Studies and The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. Nearly 220,000 degree-credit students and more than 200,000 adult, continuing and professional education students are enrolled at campuses located in all New York City boroughs. In Fall 2004, 46 percent of all the college students in the City of New York were attending CUNY. An additional 40,500 students are enrolled in College Now, the Universitys enrichment program for high school students at CUNY campuses and more than 200 New York City high schools. Another 8,000 students are enrolled in CUNY-affiliated high schools.
