Since 1988, DigiPen Institute of Technology, headquartered in Redmond, Washington, has been preparing students to succeed as skilled engineers, artists, and designers in the growing technology industries. An educational pioneer, we were the first college in the world to offer a bachelor’s degree in video game technology and development. Today, we offer a wide range of technology-focused programs, all with an eye toward the career opportunities of tomorrow. Through a combination of academic rigor and interdisciplinary team-based projects, our educational model empowers students to be active learners, bold problem-solvers, and creators.
Our programs are intentionally designed to reflect the standards and practices of the professional industries: Small teams with different backgrounds and skills collaborate to apply their knowledge, overcome challenges, and build amazing things together. These teams form the core of our tight-knit student and alumni community. Our nine undergraduate and two graduate programs fall into three general categories:
- Art, Music and Design,
- Computer Science
- Engineering
DigiPen opened a branch campus in Singapore in 2008. We believe there are no shortcuts to a serious career in the field of digital interactive entertainment. By combining a comprehensive curriculum, world-class faculty, and practical production experience, DigiPen (Singapore) provides an innovative and rigorous educational experience in the following degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Interactive Media and Game Development
- Bachelor of Arts in User Experience and Game Design
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation
- Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Engineering (ElectroMechanical Systems)
