With roots stretching back to 1913 and established in its current form in 1970, RSM is part of the Erasmus University Rotterdam and has the Triple Crown of accreditations from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. RSM also has more than 100 partnership agreements with other leading business schools and is part of the prestigious international business school network. The Financial Times 2020 Master in Management Ranking placed RSM on the 5th position globally.

RSM is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second-largest city and largest commercial port. Rotterdam is globally known for its progressive outlook, and the city is bursting with art, music, world-famous architecture, festivals, concerts and sporting events. The city is reputed as the gateway to Europe and thus serves as the ideal setting for a premier international business school.

Most of RSM's education and research takes place on the Erasmus University’s Woudestein campuswhich is practically a self-contained city with food courts, a grocery store, a bike repair shop, gym and sports facilities, and even a hairdresser.

RSM has a dedicated team of student advisers, where you can access professional help, advice and guidance during your studies. The student advisers are independent in their advising. They always take into account the special circumstances and needs of individual students.

International students from more than 80 countries make up 65 per cent of the student population at RSM.

Since RSM is a part of Erasmus University, there are many opportunities to get involved with a wide variety of student organisations, which not allows you to pursue your interests but also collaborate and meet students from other faculties.

One of the most popular study associations among our students is RSM’s STAR. STAR is Europe's largest study association with more than 6,500 members! Its 270 dedicated members coordinate around 450 events that not only connect students-to-students but also students with a broad range of companies. For example, there is the RSM STAR Case Competition, in which twelve teams from top business schools worldwide come to Rotterdam to compete by presenting their solution cases to real-life businesses, like Nike.

There are many ways to get involved with STAR and other student organisations at Erasmus University where you can learn to put into practice what you study while at RSM.
