The Graduate School is aiming to train creative professionals necessary for the nation's development. At KMOU, the general graduate school aims to produce professionals in related fields by developing creativity and ability for autonomous study. Among the professional graduate schools, the Graduate School of Maritime Industrial Studies trains human resources in the management of advanced maritime management system. The Graduate School of Maritime Management Technology cultivates executives and advanced technicians in the field of maritime industry. Finally, the Graduate School of Education offers training and re-educating for education professionals.The Graduate School of KMOU is devising a plan to improve its organizational structure to keep pace with global trends, and to increase autonomy and competitiveness to be positioned as a leading research institute.The Graduate School will take the four special maritime fields as its core focus: maritime industry, ocean science and technology, engineering technology related to maritime industry, and marine transport and International Commerce, which are all crucial industries for the nation's future welfare. It commits to move forward to be rated as a world-class graduate school specialized in maritime industry by cultivating professional manpower in the field.
