Through your college, you can access various services designed to help and support you during your time at Lancaster. These include study facilities, such as a quiet study room, group study spaces with large screens to connect to, and University Wi-Fi throughout.

Across the campus, we offer exceptional learning facilities, from the modern labs and lecture theatres in our faculties, to the multi-million-pound sports centre and outstanding library facilities.
Other facilities on campus include shops, restaurants, hairdressers, coffee shops and healthcare. The campus has its own nursery and family accommodation.

Lancaster’s on-campus postgraduate accommodation is located in Graduate College and offers a variety of living options to suit different tastes and budgets. Most postgraduates will live in single-study accommodation, but shared flats, as well as our couple and family accommodation, are also available on campus. Much of our accommodation is ensuite, but we also offer standard accommodation where students share WC/shower facilities, as well as campus townhouses and even self-contained studios. As a postgraduate, wherever you live, you are a member of Graduate College and have access to all the postgraduate facilities.

Studying at Lancaster is all about broadening your horizons, finding new perspectives, and discovering new experiences. Students get to be a part of a community that stretches beyond our campus and right around the world. By living and studying with students and staff from over 130 countries, students join a global community and can make international connections of their own.

As a postgraduate student, you will join Graduate College, which operates exclusively for the benefit of our postgraduate community. Graduate College is located on South-West campus, which is quieter than the centre of campus and only a short walk away. It boasts a friendly, international community that celebrates and encourages diversity and provides you with an ideal opportunity to make lasting friendships. It also provides an environment for you to develop academically, while the extracurricular activities help ensure that your postgraduate experience is rewarding.

Graduate College is more than a place to live, as you’ll have the chance to mix with fellow students through the College’s organised day trips, weekly activities and social events on campus, off campus, and online to enable all postgraduate students to join.

We welcome and encourage applications from all over the world, and our aim is to make the process of applying as straightforward as possible.
