What makes studying at McGill different?

McGill has nearly 50 research institutes and centres across three campuses, along with fieldwork stations in Barbados and the high Arctic. We work with a network of health partners in Quebec, including four affiliated hospitals in Montreal. Our graduate students take part in enriching, real-world learning, locally and around the world.

Campus experience

Our downtown campus is steps away from the best restaurants, cafés and nightlife that the city has to offer. About 30 minutes away by shuttle, McGill’s Macdonald Campus is a serene waterfront retreat that offers a “small college” experience and a tight-knit community.

International students

As an international student, you can access dedicated services like immigration support, buddy programs and a host of other resources, including on-campus health clinics.

A top student city

No matter where you settle in Montreal, you’ll find valuable internship and career opportunities. Our city is a global leader in aerospace, tech, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, video game development and more.
