NHH Norwegian School of Economics offers nine master specialisations in English to international degree students. All specialisations lead to the degree MSc in Economics and Business Administration (MScEBA). They share the same basic structure, allowing you to specialise in your chosen field as well as gaining a broader expertise by selecting elective courses from other business-related areas.

The Master programme in Economics and Business Administration is a two-year programme (120 ECTS):

  • Courses - 90 ECTS (45 ECTS major courses, 45 ECTS elective courses)
  • Master thesis - 30 ECTS


The MSc programme has nine specialisations offered in English to international degree students:

  • Business Analytics (BAN)
  • Economics (ECN)
  • Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment (ENE)
  • Financial Economics (FIE)
  • Marketing and Brand Management (MBM)
  • New Business Development (NBD)
  • Strategy and Management (STR)
  • Economic Analysis (ECO)
  • Business Analysis and Performance Management (BUS)
