Admission procedure
All applicants have to fill in an online application form, pay the application fee (50 EUR), send some application documents (usually CV, motivation or recommendation letter, proof of English knowledge etc.) and pass the admission exam (long-distance one only, except for CEMS program, where a personal attendance during Assessment Centre is required).
Admission requirements: completed bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field of study)
VŠE has six faculties, five of them offer English taught programs, they are located in the centre of Prague.

VŠE provides its students with high quality study environment and conditions. The University library contains more than 430 thousand books and 330 journals and provides access to numerous electronic databases with e-journals and periodicals on broad range of topics.
Students may use hundreds of computer stations on campus and wireless network.
For students, who do not come from Prague, there are almost 4,500 beds available at the university's dorms.
The university has its own sports facilities. Students may use the modern, multipurpose sport arena which was opened 2009.
The campus offers also many canteens, restaurants and coffee bars,
VŠE support system:
- Mentorship - Buddy System: the ESN VŠE Prague is an Erasmus Student Network organization that facilities the student and social life of foreign students in the Czech Republic, The organization helps students before arrival and during the stay, especially during first few days.
- Orientation Days: is organized for all international students one week prior to the beginning of the Academic year. Generally, students get familiar with the University, city of Prague and Czech culture.
- VŠE Ambassadors: you may contact our current students to ask them about their studies at VŠE and living in Prague. Join our Ambassadors on Instagram and Facebook or contact them on email ambassadors@vse.cz.
- Counselling and Development Centre: offers individual career and psychological counselling, as well as organizes various events, e.g. Job Fair Trade, VŠE Ball or VŠE Talent.
- Program coordinators: each international program is managed by its program coordinator who is responsible for communication with prospective students during the admission procedure as well as with students during their studies. Students can turn to their program coordinator with questions and doubts regarding their studies and through this individual approach they receive effective help.
The English taught programs are very international, about 90% of students are non-Czechs. There are more than 94 nationalities.
VŠE supports many students clubs and activities. Example of these activities include a choir, a chamber orchestra, a folklore group, a film club, a theatre group, and student journals.

Tuition fee
The tuition fee for international programs at VŠE is 3.800 EUR/academic year.
Most of VŠE students start working during their studies, especially thanks to the wide network of corporate partners our university has. Therefore they can build their career earlier. The unemployment rate of our graduate is less than 1%.
The University has an alumni database and a network which helps to our graduates to find quickly a new job and stay in contact with the University.
The University organizes also twice a year a Job Fair Trade, where over 100 employers offers internships, part-time jobs and full-time jobs to VŠE students and graduates.
Also, tight-knitted alumni communities are established within specific programs with their own activities throughout a year. There is also an Individual Career Counselling Centre.
