About
Thammasat University (TU) is the second oldest, leading comprehensive university in Thailand. Inaugurated in 1934 with social science and humanities to serve society’s thirst for modern knowledge. Thammasat, thus, has been known as “the university for the people”.
From the mid-1980s, TU has expanded to cover most disciplines, including science, technology, and health, so as to contribute more to society. Apart from teaching, Thammasat is an internationallyrenowned university, which emphasizes research and innovation. With the vision “Grooming the nextgeneration of leaders for Thailand and international communities”, Thammasat is bringing together students of all backgrounds to maximize their potential and be capable, innovative, caring and want to serve society. A collaboration with SkillLane, Thailand’s chief learning and digital training platform, resulted in a codesigned online master’s degree program. Knowledge and skills are delivered digitally, no longer restricted to traditional full-time students.
Thammasat Researchers has won numerous international awards for innovation, aiming to concretely improve standards of living in health, medicine, industry, and communication. These global acknowledgements are evidence of TU’s academic achievements and creativity.

Thammasat Rangsit Campus has a sports stadium and facilities that hosted the 1988 Asian Games. The campus houses an international convention center, theater, shops, shopping mall, canteens, parks, and the student activity complex with over 150 clubs and societies.

• Thammasat X-Treme Plaza
• Kayaking
• Aquatic Sport Center and Thammasat Stadium
