Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo

Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo, otherwise known as the Chapingo Autonomous University, is one of the leading agricultural colleges in Mexico. Recognized in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018 for its agriculture & forestry teaching, the university offers a range of technical and bachelor’s degrees.

Located in Texcoco, Mexico State, the university is also home to the National Museum of Agriculture, which explores the development of agriculture in Mexico from the country’s pre-Hispanic origins to the present day. This museum is a valuable study resource for students at the university. The university is also famous for its artistic murals, created by the painter Diego Rivera.
