Universidad Centroamericana "José Simeón Cañas"

Located in San Salvador – the capital city of El Salvador - José Simeón Cañas Central American University was first established in 1965. It was initially established after a request by Roman Catholic families for an alternative to the country’s University of El Salvador. The university campus spans 38 acres of the city, and student facilities include sports pitches, a museum, several libraries and a minimarket.
