Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

The University has 28 schools and institutes of three main fields:

1. a) Biomedical sciences (agronomy, biomedicine, biology, nursing, medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, sports and physical education, psychology);
2. b) Engineering and technology (Computer sciences, biomedical engineering, electric engineering, mechanic and mechatronic engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, physics, physics of materials, mathematics, chemistry, agronomy);
3. c) Business and Humanities (business administration, architecture, arts, interior design, accounting, economics, social sciences, law, philosophy, geography, history, languages [Portuguese, Spanish, French and English], music, pedagogy, theatre).

Numbers: 23,000 students, 1,895 professors and 3175 administrative personnel. Actually, 65% of teachers are men and 45% are women. Students: 54% are women and 46% are men.
