The Institution invests heavily in Graduate courses, offering Specialized Studies in all areas of knowledge, and its own Master’s and Doctorate studies. Since the 1990s, FURB has consolidated its commitment to encouraging scientific production and promoting academic qualification. Integrating teaching, research and extension, the University currently offers nine Master’s Programs and one Doctorate Program, all of them recommended by CAPES – Coordination for Refinement of Personnel in Higher Education (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) of the Ministry of Education.
