Universita' degli Studi di Napoli "L'Orientale"
About
Studying at the “Orientale” University means opening out to the knowledge of people from different linguistic, cultural, religious and social backgrounds and learn to live together. Students can decide to register on a I level degree course and then, once they have completed this, decide whether to carry on with their studies, choosing either a II level Magistrale degree or a I level Masters course, or whether to start work. Even after the II level Magistrale degree, students can still take their studies further by doing a II level Masters or a PhD or specialisation course. The introduction of the University Credits System (CFUs) has encouraged student mobility on an international level and has signalled a return to the idea of different classes of degrees. A special feature of the “Orientale” is the network of contacts and study opportunities available to support research and teacher and student exchanges with universities from all over the world. Many students take advantage of this network to finish their university careers with a period of study abroad, guests of foreign universities, associations or institutions, depending on what degree they are doing.
