Established in 1903, Solvay BrusselsSchool of Economics & Management is the Faculty of Economics of the Université libre de Bruxelles. It currently holds a leading position in Europe for research and education in the fields of Economics and Management.

Solvay Brussels School is standing tall on one of the most prestigious avenues of Brussels. Adjacent to the ULB*grounds, the building offers a wide range of technical and high-tech equipment:

As one of the biggest universities in Belgium with around 24,000 students every year, the ULB, of which Solvay Brussels School is part, offers a campus with numerous facilities and events: sports, library, medical services, restaurants, concerts, conferences and many other cultural events all through the year.

• What is the status of planned campus admission open days/tours?
Open days and info sessions are cancelled, but we offer webinars.
Dates and time remain the same as the ones previously scheduled. The information is available on our website.
• How can applicants contact the university about their application?

• How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled?
In light of current circumstances, we are flexible with regards to the documentation required and accepts candidateship event if not all mandatory documents can be submitted.
• What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed?
We evaluate English Proficiency of the applicants during the selection process (the online application and the motivation letter are in English, the admission interview is in English, the essay to be submitted is in English)
• How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed?
We are constantly in touch with our international applicants.
As our programmes start in September only, we will monitor the process closely in the coming weeks/months.
• Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants?
We are still accepting applications from foreign students.
• How are applications for university accommodation being handled?
NA to Solvay Brussels School
• Is the university making any changes to entry requirements (i.e. test results, required documents)?
In light of current circumstances, we are flexible with regards to the documentation required and accepts candidateship event if not all mandatory documents can be submitted.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis. Since the number of seats in class is limited, candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
If you wish to join an Advanced Master in September 2021, please follow the four main steps of our admission procedure:
- Complete and submit the online Application Form together with the required documents (please see below).
- If eligible, have an interview with the Academic Director.
- After the interview, write a short essay in English on a topic agreed upon with the Academic Director
- Receive feedback on your admission. If positive, please note that you will have two weeks to finalise your registration by paying a deposit of €2000.
Required documents for application:
• Online application form
• CV/resume in English
• Copies of all University degree(s) and all academic transcripts
The admission procedure and the relevant documents to be submitted may differ for every program. Please visit our website, choose the advanced master of your interest and learn more about the admission procedure and the documents to submit in regards to the program of your interest.
Application deadlines:
- Non-EU students: 31 May 2021 (recommendation related to visa procedures)
- EU students: 30 August 2021
Early-Bird discounts, amounting to €1.000, will be recognized to candidates who will send their applications by March 30th, 2021 (registrations confirmed within 2 weeks from receipt of the admission documents).
