The degree is designed in partnership with employers in different industry sectors and to meet the criteria for Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Applicants are put forward by their employer. Direct and UCAS applications are not accepted.

BA (Honours) Business
This four-year Honours degree allows you to choose the ideal combination of subjects for your chosen career path. After following a broad based curriculum in Year 1 you will specialise in your chosen subjects with the aim of either Single Honours where you study one subject or Joint Honours where you study two subjects in the final (Honours) year.
Bachelor (Honours) of Business Administration (BBA)
The BBA is a three-year Honours degree. This is an accelerated degree which does not compromise the opportunity for you to choose subjects according to your interests and career goals. The degree allows specialisation in a named subject depending on the classes chosen.
BA (Honours) International Business
This four-year specialist degree enables you to study business subjects in an international context and includes a period of study abroad in Year 3.
Masters in International Business with a Modern Language
This five-year cross-disciplinary degree allows you to combine modern languages with a range of business subjects. It allows you to seamlessly progress from undergraduate study to Masters study within one programme and gain a Masters level qualification equivalent to postgraduate level study. In Year 4 you will be based abroad at a partner business school studying business subjects in your main modern language. Year 5 is spent in Glasgow studying Masters-level business and modern language classes.
International opportunities
We are strongly international in outlook and our long-standing links with universities across the world allow you to spend part of your course* studying abroad, without adding to the length of your degree. As we are internationally accredited, and have staff and students from all over the world, even if you choose not to spend a period of study abroad, your Strathclyde Business School (SBS) degree will be valued by employers the world over.
*not available to students on the BBA
Industry links
SBS has a strong reputation for effective working with business, industry and the public sector. Our Management Development Programme, which is a compulsory element to all of our degrees, is highly valued by graduate recruiters. The programme is supported by key graduate employers such as Barclays, Morgan Stanley and EY.
