McCombs Business School offers a wide array of graduate programs at its campus in Austin Texas. Although there are multiple campuses affiliated with the business school, the Master of Science Programs are only offered at The University of Texas at Austin campus in Austin, Texas.

The business school has dedicated program staff affiliated with the programs to ensure students receive the best help to achieve academic success. It’s worth noting that programs average a 90 percent or above career placement rate within three months of students graduating.


The percentage of international students varies from program to program. On average, programs are made up of 50 percent international students in business analytics and IT & management, or 20 percent international students on marketing and finance.
There are a number of extracurricular activities students can get involved with both on and off campus. For example, students could attend Advisory Council meetings, professional development seminars, and they also have the opportunity to showcase their skillsets in competitions including data hackathons.
When it comes to living arrangements, students usually reside off campus. Just imagine the community you could create for yourself and your friends in the great city of Austin.

Typically, students applying to the school average GPAs of 3.5, while also obtaining average quantitative test scores in the 75th percentile or higher.

Although some of the Masters in Science programs at McCombs have similar entry requirements as an MBA (GRE or GMAT, letters of recommendation, personal essays) other entry programs only require demonstrations of academic success from your undergraduate studies.

Students typically demonstrate quantitative aptitude through test scores or university coursework, however, applicants hoping to get on the BA or ITM programs are required to demonstrate university coursework in computer programming.

All students are considered for merit and need based scholarships – no additional application is needed to apply.
