Our team of qualified careers advisors can help you explore the options available to you at the end of your course.


Through our careers workshops and short courses, you can get expert guidance on:

•completing application forms in the most effective way

•creating CVs and covering letters

•improving interview and presentation skills

•enhancing presentation skills.


As well as careers-related modules embedded in many courses, we can help you to gain experience through student placements (including year-long sandwich placements), part-time job opportunities and work experience at the University.


On most Tier 4 student visas, students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week during term-time. Here at the University, we understand the need to not only earn extra ‘pocket money’ but also to enhance your employability.
