Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is the best university in Belgium, according to the latest version of the QS World University Rankings®.
The university is a non-mover globally since last year’s ranking, meaning it’s the joint 182nd best university in the world, as well as being the best in the country.
Of the six ranking indicators used to assess universities, VUB scored particularly highly for its ratio of students to faculty members, for which it is ranked 40th in the world.
This good ranking follows the strong performance of the university in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, where it is ranked in the top 100 in the world for communication & media studies.
