Since 2002, Faculty of Medicine launched its International Program which has provided a valuable opportunity for overseas and Indonesian students to study medicine with an international standard curriculum.In 2011, FIB UGM inaugurated two international undergraduate programs that are English Literature and Tourism.Inculs is set up to solve the language barrier for foreign students. Since many classes (except classes of international programs) are taught in Bahasa Indonesia, foreign students need to take some classes of Bahasa Indonesia at Inculs UGM.Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UGM administers IUP to prepare students with academic competence for international engagement. As of which has been established in its recent curriculum, the program will focus on five areas of study: International Politics, International Security Studies, Conflict and Peace Studies, International Political Economy, Comparative Politics.
