Ilia State University enrolls around 3,000 first-year students every year at Bachelor level of higher education. ISU strives to meet each student's needs and help them reach their potential. Four schools at Ilia State University - School of Arts and Sciences, School of Natural Sciences and Medicine, School of Business, Technology and Education, and School of Law offer over 23 Bachelor programs in their respective disciplines:

ISU is among the few Higher Educational Institutions in Georgia that offer liberal education on bachelor level. Diversified and flexible study programs effectively integrate practical and research components starting from the early stage of the studies. Programs are delivered by highly qualified academic and teaching staff with valuable experience in teaching and research.
In cooperation with San Diego State University (SDSU) Georgia, ISU offers internationally accredited dual degree bachelor programs in STEM disciplines: electrical engineering and computer engineering. The new building for engineering programs, constructed within this partnership, will host seven most important technical labs.
Undergraduate students are offered an opportunity to participate in different international exchange programs within ERASMUS + programs. Students are engaged in vibrant student life; around 40 various student clubs are functioning on the campus. ISU offers diverse student support services, career development events, and activities, public events, job fairs & employment weeks.
