International University of Japan was founded in 1982, as a private University, with the aim of developing global leaders with a high level of specialized theoretical and practical knowledge, together with an understanding and empathy toward the worldâ??s variety of cultures, thereby enhancing their ability to contribute to the global society. First, and one of the few Japanese universities which run their courses entirely in English. Established with extensive support from Japanâ??s industrial, financial and educational communities as well as from the local community. Leading supporters of IUJâ??s foundation include the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, Industrial Bank of Japan, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Japan Foreign Trade Council IUJ offers only Master's degrees in the following areas under two graduate schools & all the courses are two-year programs, except the E-Biz program which runs for one year. Cross registration between any of the 5 programs is possible. Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) offers: MA in International Development.
