Applicants for international undergraduate admissions are encouraged to apply and should meet the following criteria:
Have graduated overseas or will graduate from an accredited secondary school by the time of anticipated enrollment at Konkuk University (KU). Required secondary school credits will vary in accordance with the candidates chosen discipline at KU. For further information please contact our admissions office.
Provide a certified copy of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) at level three or above. Or provide a Korean Language Program Certificate as issued by Konkuk Language Institute (KLI) at level three or above. Please contact the Konkuk Language Institute (KLI) for completion of this second option.
Undergraduate students are unable to enroll in academic programs that are taught in their first language. For example, students whose first language is Chinese would be ineligible to enroll in Chinese Language and Literature programs at KU.
Konkuk University (KU) delivers undergraduate education across two semesters: 1) March to June and 2) September to December. Specific start dates will vary year to year. Please consult with our academic calendar.
Tuition fees (2019): 4040 to 5400 USD, Fees vary across discipline and are for one semester of study.
Merit-based scholarships for international students are available. Please consult with our admissions office at time of enrollment.
