Founded in 1989, National Cheng Chung University is home to seven Colleges: Education, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Sciences and Social Sciences, as well as a state-of-the-art gymnasium, landmark library, the Center for Language Studies and the Ching-Jiang Life-long Learning Center.

Located in Chia-yi, Min-hsiung, students, staff and faculty members can get away from the hustle and bustle of Taiwan’s more urban campuses, and enjoy the serenity and openness of our 132 hectare campus.

At Chung Cheng University we’re dedicated to research excellence and command strong, interdisciplinary research capabilities in manufacturing, high-tech innovations, electrical engineering, information technology and biochemistry which coincide with the wide range of bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and PhDs we offer. Although teaching is conducted in Mandarin Chinese, we also offer six exclusive English-taught master’s and PhD programs, including:
