Pennsylvania State University, also known as Penn State or PSU, is currently ranked within the top 100 universities in the world. A research-intensive university made up of 24 campuses across Pennsylvania, Penn State is the only land-grant university in the state and is one of the largest universities in the US, with a total of 100,000 students. 46,000 undergraduates are enrolled at its largest campus, University Park, located in the small city of State College. Penn State has been labeled a ‘public Ivy’ – a public institution which is considered to offer high-quality education akin to that of the Ivy League.
