All are classes are being done online and we offer alternative online courses for applicants and current students.

•             How can applicants contact the university about their application?

•             How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled?
There is no admissions exam

•             What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed?
Advise students to take our SIU online English test, which a link will be provided the payment is made for $10.

•             How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed?
All our students will be able to begin class through our online platform until they are able to perform their VISA requirements.

•             Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants?
We are accepting all applicant and we have o restrictions.

•             How are applications for university accommodation being handled?
We do not offer accommodations for students.

•             Is the university making any changes to entry requirements (i.e. test results, required documents)?
No, and all documentation can be through e-mail.


Domestic Students:

  • A completed signed and dated Admissions Form.
  • A non-refundable application fee of $80.00 Dollars made payable to San Ignacio University.
  • Undergraduate Programs: Copy of high school diploma or copy of GED (General Education Diploma) or High School Transcripts. For undergraduate transfer students, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials, if they are not in English, must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). For a complete list of accepted evaluation services, please visit www.naces.org.
  • Graduate Programs: Copy of bachelor's degree diploma or transcripts. For graduate transfer students, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials, if they are not in English, must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). For a complete list of accepted evaluation services, please visit www.naces.org.
  • A sealed official High School Transcript or copy of the GED transcript.
  • Copy of valid Government Issued Picture Identification (upon admissions).

International Students

  • A completed international Admission Form signed and dated.
  • A non-refundable application fee of $80 made payable to San Ignacio University.
  • Financial statement or certified bank letter in Englishdemonstrating full-tuition funds available along with living expenses capability to cover a minimum of one year (12 months) of tuition, fees, books, supplies, living, and any other necessary expenses during your studies. (Amounts must be in or converted to USD currency).
  • Affidavit of support form in case of a sponsor.

For Undergraduate Programs

  • Proof of high school diploma or a copy of the GED (General Education Diploma) translated into English.
  • Official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. All documents and educational credentials, if they are not in English and or don’t come from a USA institution, must be translated and evaluated by companies that are members of the national association of credential evaluation services (NACES).

For Graduate Programs

  • Copy of Bachelor's degree diploma or transcripts.
  • Official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted. If a student’s native language is not English, proficiency in English must be established by one of the

following options:

  • Satisfactory Standardized Test Score as PTE (54), TOEFL (70-IBT), or IELTS (6.0).
  • San Ignacio University English Test.
  • Proof of graduating from a college or high school where English is the primary mode of instruction. Completing an ESL program at an institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Copy of a valid passport (upon admissions).
  • Copy of SEVIS / I-901 Receipt www.fmjfee.com.
