A National Quality Award Recipient - TKU is the first university in Taiwan to employ the system of Total Quality Management (TQM). In 2009, it was awarded the 19th National Quality Award.
Enterprises’ Favorite Private University – Since 1997, TKU graduates have been voted “Enterprises Favorites” in a survey conducted by a well-received Taiwanese business mazagine "Cheers". In each of the eight essential qualities identified by the survey, TKU graduates ranked first out of all graduates from private universities in Taiwan.
An International Safe School - In 2008, TKU was named by the WHO as an International Safe School. Subsequently, in 2012, it passed the WHO Safe School Re-evaluation. It is the first university in the world to be recognized as a safe school.
