The Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest is the only Romanian university entirely devoted to education in civil engineering and related fields such as building services, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, geodesy, as well as in other adjacent fields with a technical specificity. TUCEB includes six faculties with tuition in Romanian :
Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Engineering,
Hydrotechnics,
Railways, Roads and Bridges,
Technological Equipment for Constuction,
Geodesy
Building Services(which also has a division with tuition in French), and one faculty , and one
Engineering in Foreign Languages, with tuition exclusively in foreign languages-English and French, offering one study programs at Bachelor’s level in Civil Engineering and a Master study program in Structural Engineering.
There is also a Department of Foreign Languages and Communication with two study programs, both at 1st and 2nd Cycle level, in the field of Applied Foreign Languages-Translation and Interpretation.
The elite academic staff, who have distinguished themselves through the results of their teaching and research activity and through their direct participation in the most important construction works of Romania, comprises around 520 members involved in the professional formation of approximately 5800 students for the first two cycles of learning, and over 380 students following Doctoral studies.
