Tel Aviv University launched its first Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering in Israel. Taught entirely in English by distinguished faculty members in the field, the program focuses on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The curriculum is built around a strong core of mathematics, physics and engineering science, providing students a more outward-looking view in which engineers work.

Students are exposed to:

1. High ranking degree 2. A global network of peers and a world-renowned faculty, experts in their field and CEOs of major corporations 3. An internship at global High Tech Firms and Israeli start-up companies 4. A platform for future exposure

Taught in 8 semesters, the students are encouraged to share ideas, diversify their culture and networks, and question precedents in the field as well as apply their knowledge via the integrated internship and project component. Study abroad programs in prominent Universities in the East are also available for interested students.

The school was established in 2007 by merging three research departments. Over 30 of the 52 Engineering Faculty members are Fellows of prestigious international professional associations such as the IEEE. Moshe Kam, the previous president of the IEEE, is an alumnus of the Engineering Faculty
