Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), a young and aspiring university in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s economic and educational hub, is proudly committed to Vietnam’s human development and sustainable growth into the 21st century. Established in 1997, TDTU has steadily developed into one of the largest and fastest growing universities in Vietnam. The most significant milestone of such amazing growth is the inauguration of our main campus in Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City in August 2011. Equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art instruments, it allows for the consolidation of many academic disciplines. The old campus in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, however, is still maintained and is now dedicated to the university’s vocational mission when it was first founded. With 20,000 students and 1320 staff, the University has five campuses in Ho Chi Minh City (two different ones), Nha Trang Beach, Lam Dong Province and Ca Mau Province in the Mekong Delta region. The University currently has 16 faculties, 50 research groups, 66 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs with many interdisciplinary research opportunities. The University is focusing on high quality research, training and internationalization.
