Transilvania University of Brasov (UniTBv) is the largest public university in the central region of Romania, with 19.300 students and 760 full-time academic staff. Transilvania University of Brașov offers a wide range of courses corresponding to the second cycle of studies leading to graduate (MA/MSc) degree. All our master programmes have 120 ECTS, meaning two years. The graduate study programmes at Transilvania University of Brașov cover 30 domains of science in the major fields of engineering, social sciences, humanities, arts, medicine, mathematics and sports. 66 of the graduate programmes offered by Transilvania University are full-time, but there are also 4 part-time programmes. Most of our master programmes are conducted in Romanian, but there are also 6 programmes taught in English, and 2 in German.
Doctoral studies (PhD degree) are offered in 18 fields, both in Romanian and English: mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications and informational technologies, systems engineering, computers and information technology, chemical engineering , forestry, informatics, mathematics, marketing, forest engineering, engineering and management, philology, medicine, science of sport and physical education, music.
