Our graduates may continue their studies for two more years to obtain a Master’s level (Second cycle) degree or a PhD. Master's students are required to earn 120 credits (ECTS) during the two-year period and defend an original thesis under the guidance of a course professor. We're currently offering 31 Master's programmes as well as 10 different PhD courses.
This is a list of the international Master's degree courses we're currently running. Most of them provide double, multiple or even joint degrees with international institutions:
Applied Data Science
Atmospheric Science and Technology
Business Administration, Economics and Finance Computer and Systems Engineering Computer Science Environmental Biology and Management of Ecosystems
Most remarkably, we've been successfully running for 10 years now an international Joint MSc in Mathematical Engineering called MathMods (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree) and in recent years we've launched another international Joint MSc called InterMaths, which focuses on Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics. Both MathMods and InterMaths can count on an average of 40 international students each, who will be spending their graduate years in 2 or even 3 different partner institutions we have in Europe (Vienna, Hamburg, Barcelona, Nice, to mention just a few).
