The magister of informatics engineering (Master/postgraduate program) of the Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta is directed at the results of graduates who are virtuous, entrepreneurial, and have the following qualifications: 1. Ability to design and manage software projects 2. The ability to master the technical and management aspects of the use of information technology 3. Ability to evaluate and deal with the impact of information technology 4. The ability to have innovative power in producing information technology products/services 5. Ability to design, develop, and implement projects in the field of digital media To realize the vision and mission, the Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta develops a multidisciplinary approach, uses research-based teaching methods and problem-solving, and students are educated and trained to gain specific expertise in the field of information technology. In addition, there are complexities and challenges that continue to develop in the information technology sector, the Informatics Engineering Master Program has 3 concentrations, namely: i. Informatics Technopreneurship Focus on the formulation of the use of ICT in planning, financial management, marketing, governance, and ICT auditing ii. Business Intelligence Focus on the development, development, and management of information systems in various fields of enterprise with decision-making techniques, artificial intelligence, and information-based analysis techniques to support the effectiveness of decisions in order to achieve organizational goals including the selection of information technology platforms according to enterprise needs, especially in Big Data era. iii. Animation Focus on the development of animated films by paying attention to the principles of animated films, modeling techniques, and three-dimensional reconstruction and being able to implement them in the development of an interactive three-dimensional environment.
