To ensure the highest standard of learning, UII puts quality firmly in place. As result, in 2009 the Government of Indonesia ranked UII first nationally in Quality Assurance.

UII also earned the ISO 9001:2008 certificate as evidence of international recognition. In 2013, UII achieved A grade for its institutional accreditation by the Indonesian National Accreditation Board, which was the highest score among other private universities in Indonesia. Lastly, in 2015 the Government of Indonesia ranked UII in the top ten best universities in Indonesia for the fields of higher education management and organizational quality.
