The University of Potsdam is a young academic institution at a location rich in tradition just 30 minutes from the capital Berlin. Students at the undergraduate level can choose from about 50 Bachelor degrees. All BA courses are predominantly taught in German. The University of Potsdam does not charge tuition fees.

For our international students who do not yet possess the necessary entry requirement we offer a preparatory year involving language and subject specific training. All international students can sign up for a buddy program to facilitate a successful academic start. The University of Potsdam is a truly international community with students from more than 119 countries who have enrolled at Potsdam for a semester abroad or a complete Master’s or Bachelor’s program. We are proud of our international faculty and the welcoming culture on all three of the University’s campuses. Counseling services are available at all stages of the student experience.
