Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) is the largest university of applied sciences in Bavaria, and the second largest in Germany. Located at the heart of a European high-tech and economic metropolis, our mission is to remain firmly focussed on practical application – both in teaching and in research.
We offer a wide range of undergraduate courses for prospective students, with first-class research-based opportunities at postgraduate level and very popular and flexible options for those already in employment. There are certain fields in which we pursue applied research in a particularly intensive manner.
Although we are firmly rooted in the region, we teach for the international employment market, and our research is conducted at an international level. Our work is above all application-oriented, interdisciplinary, and practice-based. In addition, we are defined by entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour, with respect for natural resources. Transparency in decision-making and open, constructive relationships with one another are as important to us as ensuring that staff members and students are involved and valued.
